How does OpsClara get my data?
Through your existing PointClickCare Data Relay. An encrypted copy of your data is delivered to a private database that is yours alone, refreshed automatically every hour. Nothing changes inside PointClickCare.
Is it secure and HIPAA-compliant?
Your data lives in a separate, isolated database with its own credentials, is read-only, and every access is audit-logged. OpsClara operates as your business associate under a signed BAA on a HIPAA-eligible cloud, encrypted in transit and at rest. We're pursuing SOC 2 Type II.
Who owns the data?
You do. You remain the covered entity that owns the records. OpsClara holds a working copy on your behalf as your business associate and can read it to answer questions — never write, change, or share it.
Do I have to change anything in PointClickCare?
No. OpsClara reads a copy delivered by Data Relay. Your PointClickCare workflows, users, and data are completely untouched.
How long does onboarding take?
Once your Data Relay credentials are in hand, OpsClara stands up your private copy and you're asking questions the same day. Provisioning the Data Relay feed itself is a PointClickCare step that takes a few days.
